At Bodega Cooperativa de La Romana, wine is born from the union between growers and land. Since 1964 we have worked in the Vinalopó Medio, one of the main winegrowing areas of the DOP Alicante.
Our history combines cooperative tradition with progress, with facilities modernised in 2002 to improve the winemaking processes and the production capacity.

Bodega Cooperativa de La Romana is part of the Alicante Protected Designation of Origin, a guarantee of origin, quality and winemaking tradition.
In the Vinalopó Medio, the Mediterranean climate, the local soils and a viticulture adapted to a dry, sunny land give our wines their personality. A land tied to wine culture and especially to varieties such as Monastrell.
Monastrell, Mediterranean identity
One of the most representative varieties of the DOP Alicante. Adapted to the dry, sunny climate of the Vinalopó, it brings structure, intensity and character to the wines of this land.
The character of the Vinalopó Medio
A Mediterranean land of contrasts, marked by the scarcity of water, the sun and the swings in temperature. An environment that has shaped how the vine is grown here for generations.
